Our meet Locations
The two harbors listed below are the meeting locations for our boat snorkeling tours. If you booked our Manta Ray Night Tour or Private Captain Cook Snorkeling Charter, you meet at our Keauhou Bay location listed below.
Our other snorkeling tour – the Captain Cook Snorkeling Tour departs from Kailua-Kona town at one of two nearby harbors (Honokohau Harbor or Keauhou Bay). Which harbor we meet depends on sea conditions/bookings. Near your tour date we’ll email & text the harbor address to meet us for your snorkeling tour. You will be asked to enter the street address into Google Maps to get directions and driving time from your hotel. The two locations are a short drive from each other.
Regardless of what snorkeling tour you choose you will need to arrive 30 minutes prior to our published departure time. All daytime snorkel tours depart the dock at 10am, so meeting us at 9:30am is sure to get you there with time to park, use the restrooms and apply sunscreen prior to boarding, which is at 9:45–9:55am. The Night Manta Ray Snorkel Tour departure time meets at 7pm so arriving at 6:30pm gives you time to find parking, check-in and get fitted for optional wetsuits.

Honokohau Harbor is just 10 minutes north of downtown Kona. There is free public parking within a minute or two walk from our meeting location. To find the above address use Google Maps only. We are at the south harbor and after turning onto Kealakehe Parkway the next right turn is exactly .5 miles. Park and meet us near the small red roofed building in this parking lot.

Keauhou Harbor is just 15 minutes south of downtown Kona. There is free on-street parking within a 3–5 minute walk from our meeting location. To find the above address use Google Maps only. You will see the sign Captain Cook Cruises on the rock wall in front of the boat yard. Don’t drive into the yard but after finding on-street parking, walk back to the yard and enter the boatyard for check-in. (If you find the public restrooms with the light green roof, you are only ½ block from us. Be sure to have your cell phone you booked your reservation on and available to answer calls from us if you miss check-in.)

We are at the intersection of Napo‘opo‘o Rd. & Beach Rd., Captain Cook, HI. Meet us on Napo‘opo‘o Pier, behind the yellow gate at the intersection of Napo‘opo‘o and Beach Rd. Parking is one block from Napo‘opo‘o Pier, at the end of Beach Road, then walk back to Napo‘opo‘o Pier to meet us.
